In a recent conversation with the Health Secretary he confirmed the £7.8m investment this year to fund 45 new ambulances for the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
Already this year we have seen increased investment in primary care, an extra £22m a year for our hospital trust, and £4.3m to fix our local hospital buildings.
The Government has committed to putting the NHS back on its feet. The spending review yesterday set out the increased investment that will make that happen.
