The Defence Committee is looking at the Armed Forces Covenant – the promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. The inquiry is an important one and the Government has indicated that changes to the Covenant could be brought in to make it work better. The recommendations of this inquiry will be able to inform that legislation.
This morning we heard evidence from the Royal British Legion, Cobseo, Naval Families Federation, Army Families Federation and RAF Families Federation.
