Really pleased that the Labour run Cumberland Council have approved plans for major expansion of local bus services — thanks to £3.5 million in additional Government funding secured for local bus routes.
Following extensive consultation with local communities the proposed new services include:
🚌New Whitehaven to Ravenglass service connecting coastal communities.
🚌 Bootle – Millom via Ravenglass – New service connecting via Ravenglass including more connectivity for the M1.
