I have joined with MPs in Lancashire to write to Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust to express concerns over their decision to stop accepting new referrals for autism and ADHD diagnoses for children and young people in our area.
I have already been contacted by parents who are rightly concerned about what this will mean for families, and we urgently need clarity about how this will impact children already on waiting lists, what support can be provided, and a timeline setting out when referrals will be reinstated.
