A couple of weeks ago I met with Millom Heritage & Arts Centre.
The centre has got a lot of history squeezed into its building at the station! We went from the Bronze Age with prehistoric footprints and animal bones, to the Ironworks era, through a Victorian house and to the World Wars.
It was good talking to the centre about their ambitions and struggles, and I’ve taken some casework back with me about the upkeep of the building to see how I can help
