Celebrating Big Green Week at the Mind Garden

It was wonderful to visit the Mind Garden in Barrow as part of Great Big Green Week and see the fantastic work being done to support mental health through nature.

The garden looks beautiful and it’s easy to see why it has achieved an Outstanding/Gold award in Cumbria in Bloom at the Chelsea Flower Show. A huge thank you to the volunteers whose hard work has created such a welcoming space for the community.

It was also great to meet local organisations including Mind in Furness, National Trust, Cumbria Wildlife Trust and CVS, all working together to support wellbeing and our natural environment.
