Barrow Pride in Place is about local people helping to shape the future of our communities.
Over the next 10 years, £20m is being provided by Government to be spent on projects decided on by our local community.
There is a real opportunity to invest in the things that matter most to local people and create positive change across Central Barrow and Hindpool. But for this to work, it needs local people at its heart.
We’re looking to connect with residents, volunteers, community groups, businesses, young people, parents, carers and anyone who cares about where they live.
You don’t need any special qualifications or previous experience. If you have enthusiasm, a willingness to get involved in community action, and ideas about how our communities can be even better, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you can spare an hour, share an idea, volunteer at an event, or help shape decisions through the Neighbourhood Board there is a place for everyone to get involved.
