After local residents got in touch asking about the progress on the old police station in Ulverston, I arranged a visit so I could get caught up and let them know.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the progress being made on the old police station in Ulverston. I met the team at Building Design Northern who showed me their vision for this historic (but majorly run down) building into short-stay accommodation, office spaces, and eventually a courtyard offering food, drinks and retail.
Another place BDN has renovated is Sheepfolds Stables in Sunderland which looks stunning!
This site will offer something new to locals and tourists alike. You can already see good progress being made, and I can’t wait to see how it will be used and incorporated into our little festival town when it’s finished!
