New regulations are being introduced to make it easier for UK Armed Forces Veterans to get access to social housing. The new changes will exempt all former UK Armed Forces Veterans from rules that restrict access to social housing for those that do not have a connection to the local area.
It’s a national embarrassment that so many veterans find it difficult to find houses and that too many end up homeless. I’m pleased to see these sensible changes being made which will help address that.
