Free school meals are expanding next week to every family receiving Universal Credit.
The Government has expanded access to free school meals to an extra half a million children across the country. But, you won’t get auto-enrolled – you’ll need to check your eligibility and apply to receive the benefit.
This is just one of the things Labour is doing to make things that little bit easier for families.
We’re also bringing universal free breakfast clubs to nine Furness and south west Cumbria primary schools next week, we’ve lowered the cost of school uniforms and we’ve expanded access to free childcare for working parents.
